Timberlake 4-H and FFA members had a great Tulsa State Fair with both market and breeding animals. Rylee Thomas showed a Hampshire lamb and placed second with her Hair Sheep. Henslee Powell showed a Hampshire and Cross barrow and placed with both. Jake Thorp and Jamie Thorp both placed well in their classes. Jake placed second with his Maine steer and Jamie first with a Cross, and both steers made the premium sale! Jake also placed second with his Maine Prospect Steer.

We wrapped up the Tulsa State Fair with the breeding animals. Leo Moore, Henslee Powell and Taylor Powell did a great job showing their gilts. Henslee placed with her Spot and Taylor with her Cross. Joel Pecha showed Herefords Saturday and placed second and fourth. Cade Jenlink had a second place Simmental and placed well with his Maintainer heifer. Ethan Jenlink placed second and sixth with his Angus heifers.

Anthony Wiens participated in the 4-H and FFA horse show. He placed first in poles, second in barrels and fifth in stakes in the 15-19 age group.

Timberlake FFA members also entered six native range displays. The students spent a lot of time and effort in making their grass boards competitive. Kamber LeForce, Jayden Dillon and Sophia Leierer placed fourth, Cade Jenlink and Braydon Frech placed sixth, Dru Bryant and Kylee Wiens placed eighth, and Jake Thorp, Camdon Frech and Jaden Severin placed 10th.
