A-F school report cards released

The Oklahoma State Department of Education recently released the A-F Report Card list for the 2015-2016 school year. Woods County schools received grades ranging from A+ to D+.

Schools with smaller numbers of students seem to be at a disadvantage in these A-F grades as one or two students having a bad day of testing can really skew the results.

Freedom High School received a B grade with 86 points. The school did not have sufficient students to receive a bottom quartile student growth grade so half the grade was based on student achievement and half on overall student growth.
