Traditions never die

Tuesday, Jan. 17, Alva High School continued the tradition of basketball homecoming with the senior class of 2017. Twelve senior basketball players played in their last high school homecoming against the Newkirk Tigers.

Homecoming has always been a huge part of senior year and it continues on. Jordan Shiever, Lexie Shafer, Allison Seevers, Ally Riley, Mattie Duncan, Cathy Mapes, Whitney Randall, Ethan Harzman, Brooks Hadwiger, Hayden Colwell, Grant Ritter and Justin Meyer – all 12 saw homecoming festivities for the last time as a player.
