Burlington's fourth grade class is taught by Danielle Jewel. She describes her class as extraordinary. She has 11 students who enjoy spelling and P.E., as well as reading, social studies and music.

This year they are learning long division and inequalities in math and learning different genres of reading. At Burlington, the students start learning how to play different musical instruments in the fourth grade. They also learn how to become a team player and work well with others as beginning members of the elementary basketball teams. The fourth grade class is involved in basketball, band, 4-H, Gym Rats, dance, church youth, and riding horses.

The class looks forward to going to the Tri-State and Seiling music competitions, bowling for their Accelerated Reader trip and the annual Burlington Play Date at the end of the school year.

When asked how the students would describe their class, they responded with energized, creative, messy, loud, colorful, cheerful, crazy and cool. We wish the Burlington fourth grade the best of luck and hope they make plenty of great memories.
