Meeting to address well-site restoration

April 27, 2017

Anyone interested in learning more about how OERB can help with restoration of an abandoned well site is invited to attend the Woods County Mineral Owners Association meeting on Tuesday, May 16, at 6 p.m. at Northwest Technology Center, 1801 South 11th St., Alva.

Mindy Stitt, executive director of the Oklahoma Energy Resources Boar (OERB), will be the guest speaker for the evening. Everyone is encouraged to come and bring a friend. This educational program is open to all interested residents, whether mineral owner, landowner or interested citizen.

Stitt will share information about OERB’s ongoing commitment to clean up Oklahoma’s orphaned and abandoned well sites. The OERB’s environmental restoration cost nothing to landowners or taxpayers. OERB has restored more than 15,000 orphaned and abandoned well sites, employing Oklahoma contractors along the way.

If you have, or know of, an abandoned well site, you need to come and find out how OERB can help you restore your property.
