RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Aubre Gilreath has been named the Great American Conference Women's Runner of the Week after winning the UALR Invitational last Saturday, the league office announced Wednesday.

Gilreath posted her second consecutive top-three finish, as she placed third at the Ozarks Invitational on Oct. 7. In the UALR Invitational on Oct. 14, the freshman from Rogers, Ark. finished the five-kilometer race in 19:31.83 to claim her first win as a Golden Sun.

Gilreath was the only one of 62 non-Division I runners to finish the race in under 20 minutes, as her average mile was 6:16.8. Gilreath's time also led the Golden Suns to a first-place finish as a team, as Arkansas Tech's average time was 54 seconds faster than the second-place team.

Arkansas Tech cross country will run again on Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Great American Conference Championships in Magnolia, Ark.
