Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from north Cedar to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Deputy Miller investigated illegal hunting on College Hill Road.

November 14, 2017

Kiowa ambulance transported patient from Campbell Street to Kiowa Hospital. Eric Lyn Freeman, Sun City, driving a 1998 Toyota Tacoma, hit a deer on Highway 160 west of Medicine Lodge. Unknown damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Miller.

Deputy Miller investigated illegal hunting on Blackmore Road.

November 15, 2017

Mary F. Keller, Nashville, hit a deer on Ridge Road. Over $1,000 damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Paasch. Medicine Lodge Rural Fire Department and Medicine Lodge ambulance also responded.


November 16, 2017

Kiowa ambulance responded to south Sixth Street. No transport. Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital to the helipad.

Deputy Paasch investigated a suspicious person on K-2.

November 17, 2017

Aaron Richard Blasi, Sharon, hit a cow on Highway 160 east of Pixley, Over $1,000 damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Suchy. Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from south Cherry to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.

Paul Dale Ricke, Hazelton driving a 2002 Toyota Tundra, hit a deer on Geriane Road. Unknown damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Miller.


November 18, 2017

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from west Ethel in Isabel to Pratt Regional Medical Center. Gay L. Simpson, Medicine Lodge, driving a 2016 Ford Escape, hit a deer on Reutlinger Road. Unknown damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Paasch. Kiowa ambulance transported patient from Kiowa Hospital to St. Francis in Wichita.

November 19, 2017

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from north Broadway in Sharon to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital to Kansas Heart Hospital. Sharon Fire Department responded to a grass fire on southeast Redbird Road. During the week officers received four reports of cattle out, one report of a horse out, one report of a hog out, performed one public assist and assisted four other agencies.
