Reddies Come Up Short in Overtime, Lose to Oklahoma Baptist 81-79

Henderson State's second-half rally fell short as Oklahoma Baptist beat the Reddies 81-79 in overtime, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center.

Trailing 79-76 with 1:26 remaining in overtime, Kaylon Tappin cut the deficit to a single point having a driving layup with 1:02 to play.

The Bison pushed the lead back to three points on a layup by Chandler Rickey with 33 second remaining. Tappin then knocked down one of two free throws before Eric Dailey fouled Vladimir Nemcok with 7 seconds remaining.
