Library specialist implementing new programs

Clifford, pictured with second grader Remington Farney, made an appearance at the Burlington school book fair.

Mica Andrews is the new library specialist at Burlington School this year. She enjoys what she does. She is using the new Promethean Active Connect to teach lessons to the elementary students.

Andrews is working with the kindergarten on learning alphabetical order. She is also having the fourth through sixth grades research different states in the US. The students will present their research on Google slides to their class. All of the students together have read 36,096,719 words and tested on 6,445 books since August.
