FIRST HALF

This GAC match-up featured a back-and-forth scoring battle to begin the opening half of play, as both squads were able to hold small leads in the early stages.

The Weevils were able to head into the locker room at halftime leading HSU 35-34 after a made three-pointer from Mawuenyega, and a layup from Jones to help guide the offense.

Arkansas-Monticello went 13-for-24 (54 percent) from the floor in the first half which aided in this offense gaining the lead down the stretch in the opening period.

A missed three point shot from Hill bounced off the rim in the closing seconds, but Keelin Jackson was able to get a hand on the rebound and tip the ball in as time expired to send this game into overtime at 77-77 overall.
