Bison Take First Two from Ouachita

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist took two games from Ouachita Baptist Saturday, winning 5-3 in the opener and 5-2 in the second game.
The Bison opened the scoring in the second inning with an inside-the-park home run by Josh Timms when the Ouachita Baptist right-fielder crashed into the wall attempting the catch and was unable to retrieve the ball.
OBU added another run in the fifth when Garrett McKeetripled and scored on a double by Brett Bloomfield.
Roy Verdejo added an RBI double and later scored on an error for a 4-0 Bison lead in the sixth.
