The Alfalfa County commissioners accepted bids to install new RV hookups at the fairgrounds at their Tuesday meeting. The winning bid was submitted by Moyer Electric of Woodward in the amount of $17,500. They also had an option of removing and replacing six wall packs located on the barn with new LED wall packs for $3,250.

Other bidders were Northwest Electric of Alva who bid $23,400. Another bid was received from KC Electric of Enid, but no amount was named.

Blanket purchase orders for District 1 (in the amount of $750) and District 3 (in the amount $500) were approved.

A vote approving private property access easement for District 3 in S 1/2 of NE 1/4 of 4-25-9 to remove trees and place on the landowner's land was accepted.

A Canon 3060C scanner in the county clerk's office was declared surplus. Then they passed a resolution for disposing of the scanner.

An agreement for the purchase of power from Alfalfa Electric Cooperative was approved for the RV hookups. Prepayments from the county will be a $25 connection fee and a $1,900 contribution. Then the electric cooperative will rebate to the county $005 per kilowatt hour purchased until the $1,900 contribution is reached.
