February Rotary Students of the Month honored

 

February Rotary Students of the Month are Ray Ray Bell and Cade Madsen, who are standing with Rotarian John Ryerson.

Cade Madsen

Cade is the son of Craig and Sharee Madsen.

High school activities include varsity basketball and baseball, Key Club, FFA, FCA, speech and debate. Activities outside of school include being a member of Alva Church of God. Cade's goal is to attend a four-year university and earn a degree in physical therapy. The best advice he could give to a freshman is, "Don't wish it away because it will go faster than you think." His personal philosophy is, "A good life is when you smile often, dream big, laugh a lot and realize how blessed you are for what you have."

High school activities include varsity basketball, track, cross country, Key Club, FCCLA, FCA, NHS, H2O, speech and show choir. Activities outside of school include being a member of Hopeton Church. Ray Ray's goal is to join the Army as well as obtaining a degree in sports and health science. The best advice she could give to a freshman is, "Don't procrastinate and make everyday special." Her personal philosophy is, "Fear not for I am with you. I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10).
