ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team dropped a non-conference match-up on the road to Henderson State Tuesday evening, 3-1.

UAM drops to 29-15 in 2018.

HSU jumps to 28-16 on the year.

UAM STATS

6th Inning: Wagner drove a ball to left field seeing Ray score from third to cut the HSU lead down to just 2-1.

The Reddies however were able to score an additional run in the bottom half of the inning to take this non-conference tilt at 3-1 overall.

The Weevils return to the field next on Friday, April 27 as UAM will face rival Southern Arkansas in a single game at Weevils Field at 3:00 p.m. The three-game series this weekend between UAM and SAU will feature the GAC's top two teams battling for the GAC regular season title, along with a number one seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
