An article by Alex Janin in the Wall Street Journal claims that getting enough sleep, exercising and eating a healthy diet can help. It’s also proven that high-quality relationships and optimism factor in. But when it comes to living longer, genetics are the high card.

Older people fall into three major groups: “Escapers” are people who have avoided heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. well-past middle age. “Delayers” are those who have only encountered major health problems after the age of 80 and “Super-agers”...
