Alfalfa County floats idea of merging 911 with Major County's

Courthouse closed Mon., Jan. 1, for the holiday

Alfalfa County E-911 department supervisor (and undersheriff) Gary Mast was at the county's commissioner meeting this week to address Mike Roach and Garret Johnson about possibly merging the 911 department with that of Major County. (Commissioner Nate Ross was out sick.)

Cherokee Chief of Police Ryan McNeil joined Mast in the gallery, with the latter saying there had been several meetings on the subject — one in which Roach accompanied him and Ross another.
