Rodeo Alums Compete at International Finals Rodeo

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Four alumnus of the SWOSU Rodeo team competed at the International Finals Rodeo (IFR) over the weekend at Jim Norwick Arena in Oklahoma City.
Shane Hand won the IPRA World Title in Saddle Bronc after finishing first in three different rounds. Hand entered the finals ranked first in the standings and won the second, third and fourth rounds to claim the average and secure a world title.
Also competing in the IFR were Cody Goertzen, who also competed in Saddle Bronc, and a pair of Breakaway Ropers in Jenna Lee Hays and Cassie Vaughn.
