Trying to be funny results in court charge

 


A man from Minnesota told a park ranger he was “just trying to be funny” when stopped at Little Sahara State Park at Waynoka.

According to court records, on March 25 about 11:10 p.m. Park Ranger Nathan Rackley was in the parking area across from the south gate entrance to the dune riding area of Little Sahara when he saw a grey Jeep drive past. As the Jeep headed north into the Golden Sands Campground, Rackley says he saw a passenger standing up in the rear compartment of the vehicle with his pants pulled down around his thighs exposing his backside.
