NACOGDOCHES, Texas – It was a successful Friday afternoon on the track for Southern Arkansas as multiple program records fell during action at the Skecher's Carl Kight Invitational, while the Muleriders logged eight Top 10 placements against some of the region's top competition.
Tyler Shelton improved his program record decathlon score by over 430 points as he finished in ninth-place with a final score of 5,212. Shelton's previous program best was set last season at the Great American Conference Championships (4,776). Richard Barkhimer also topped Shelton's record from last spring as he placed...
