Tuesday, June 6, 2017

8:05 a.m. 911 call, male having trouble with his blood pressure being over 200. RP was out of meds and was wanting to be taken to Enid hospital. Paged medic. Medic en route with patient in St. Mary's Hospital.

8:16 a.m. Residential alarm going off at the back door.

8:38 a.m. Contacted Cherokee Manor about a missing person for the night before. Found out he had not been found. Advised of the possibility he may be headed to the Tulsa area where he lived prior to the Manor. The nurse asked about the possibility of looking at the cameras at Jiffy Trip and Toni's Express Stop where he may have gotten a ride from someone. Advised they were concerned about his welfare and safety. He had been diagnosed with dementia and manic depressive disorder. Officer advised he was going to go check out the videos. Advised he didn't have a cell phone. Advised he did have a four-prong cane with him and also a long black-and-red duffle bag. The manor said he was extremely agitated and possibly manic depressive. Deputy advised Missing Persons and put out a Silver Alert to all agencies. Assistance from airplane. Officer authorized canceling the Silver Alert and BOLO.

10:42 a.m. Reporting party (RP) stated he was involved in a two-car accident. He said that there were no injuries but wasn't sure. Paged Helena medic and Carmen first responders. Medic advised no transport.

11:01 a.m. Manor called for a transport for male with low vital signs. Paged Cherokee medic. Medic with patient en route to St. Mary's Hospital.

11:59 a.m. Controlled burn north side of the fairgrounds.

1:07 p.m. Controlled burn on Custer Road.

1:55 p.m. RP advised a female had fallen and needed help getting up. Paged medic. Advised no transport.

3:35 p.m. Controlled burn in Byron.

6:06 p.m. Civil papers served.

6:50 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on Highway 45 and County Road 650.

8:33 p.m. Dog at large. Advised a mastiff was in the parking lot. Vet clinic will take the dog. Advised the dog was at the vet clinic.

4:37 p.m. Civil matter in the 200 block of Ninth Street.

7:51 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at Highway 11 and County Road 640.

8:25 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop in Ingersoll.

10:06 p.m. Driver advised there were several black cattle on the sides of U.S. Highway 64 and county road.

10:33 p.m. 911 call, a fight was in front of BYZ Tavern by people who had weapons. Notified officer and deputy. They advised the people were separated and gave two citations.

2:55 a.m. RP advised there was a transformer sparking and starting fires. Advised it was 2 miles south of Cherokee. Paged Cherokee Fire Department and Alfalfa Electric Cooperative.

8:32 a.m. RP advised he had fuel stolen out of his work vehicle and wanted to talk to a deputy. Advised deputy.

6:03 p.m. Deputy with a hitchhiker. Advised everything was okay.

7:05 p.m. Civil papers were served.

7:15 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at junction of highways 45 and 8.

7:56 p.m. Civil papers were served.

8:17 p.m. Civil papers were being served but made no contact.

8:30 p.m. Civil papers were being served but made no contact.

9:03 p.m. Medic needed for male who had fallen and possibly broken his hip. Medic and patient en route to St. Mary's Hospital.

10:16 p.m. Deputy traffic stop on County Road 520 and U.S. Highway 64.

1:28 a.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Grand and Sixth Street.

12:04 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop 3 miles west of Jet.

1:36 p.m. Controlled burn on Turkey Trail.

2:42 p.m. Medic needed for a male who was having seizures and had possibly broken his arm in the fall. Paged medic and GFD. Medic with patient and en route to Enid.

4:20 p.m. RP stated a group of teenagers were drinking at the Carmen Park by the swimming pool. Had to close due to one of the teenagers getting sick in the swimming pool. RP advised they got in a White KIA four-door. Deputy en route. Deputy made contact and has one in custody and en route back to the office.

5:26 p.m. RP stated someone advised her there was a female walking along the highway with a dog, small trailer and bicycle around 2 miles north of the junction of highways 11 and 8. Deputy advised everything was okay. The individual refused any medical care and she was moving her things 20 feet back from the road.

5:53 p.m. RP reported a reckless driver that passed him in a no-passing zone on a hill at a high rate of speed. RP advised the vehicle turned north of Cozy Curve. White crew cab pickup. Advised officer.

6:06 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Washington and Grand.

6:53 p.m. Officer at Second Street and Penn with individual. Officer had one male en route.

9:32 p.m. Deputies had a traffic stop at Highway 8 and Kay Road.

9:45 p.m. Deputies had a traffic stop on Jefferson and Highway 8.

11:21 p.m. RP advised of a driver going through yards and across the highway blacktop. People were hanging out of the windows. Caller was verbally abusive. Advised the reckless driver was driving through yards and almost hit her fence. Advised the driver was in a blue and white older Ford. Advised deputies. RP advised the driver went north on Highway 38 towards Highway 11. Advised no officer came and he was going to get a shotgun and chase them down. Another call came in and advised they live on Paradise Lane. A blue and white truck came driving through their yard and garden. Officer advised the driver was trying to drive across the bridge that is closed. Officer advised they made it across the bridge. Sheriff advised he was near where the people lived. Sheriff reported negative contact. Officer advised they couldn't find them. The sheriff and officer agreed they couldn't find them and went back to the RP's residence.

11:28 p.m. RP advised a woman had taken something poisonous and she has no phone. Medic en route. Medic with patient and en route to St. Mary's.

Saturday, June 10, 2017

5:42 p.m. RP requested the fire department needed for a combine on fire on Greer Road. CFD en route and requested mutual aid. BFD en route. CFD advised the fire was out and headed back to the station.

6:55 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Eighth Street and Ohio.

8:10 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Highway 38 and Harmon.

2:28 p.m. RP advised a woman in approximately her 70s was sitting under a tree on the north side of the road by Burlington. He had taken food out to her but was concerned with the heat. Advised deputy. He was going to do some follow-up with another deputy. Deputy advised the female was going from Haze, Kansas, to Norman but had a flat tire on her wagon. She was a traveling minister and refused medical treatment and refused water.

8:37 p.m. RP advised of a combine on fire 2 miles west of Byron. Paged Amorita and Byron Fire Department. A&B FD advised the fire was out.

9:34 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Grand and Oklahoma.
