Burlington FFA holds 67th annual banquet

The Burlington FFA chapter recently highlighted another year's accomplishments at the annual banquet. The evening began with a meal provided by the Burlington FFA Mother's Club and was followed with recognition of the 2016-2017 Burlington FFA Mother's Club president, Marci Hyde.
Anna Motycka presented the FFA Creed and numerous proficiency awards were presented by Burlington FFA President Bayli Hyde. Tateyn Rieger was recognized as the Chapter Star Greenhand and Jonathan Armbruster was recognized as the Chapter Star in Agricultural Placement. Tanner Rieger received the honor of Chapter Star in Agribusiness and Bayli Hyde was honored as the Chapter Star Farmer.
Marci and the late Robert Hyde were bestowed with the Honorary Chapter FFA Degree.
Mr. Bradshaw recognized the state and national award winners and gave special thanks to Shane and Kiley Feely for their support of the Burlington FFA chapter.
Last, but not least, was the installation the new officer team for the 2017-2018 school year. The new officers were Gavin McCullough, president; Caitlin Flackman, vice president; Brenner Clark, secretary; Jaden Allen, treasurer; Lauren Lagos, reporter; Anna Motycka, sentinel; Sadie Crusinbery, parliamentarian; Tateyn Rieger, chaplain.
