Woods County Girl Scouts gathered at the Stamp Out Starvation facility (formerly Kids Against Hunger) in Cherokee to package food for those who don't get enough to eat and need some extra help. The Girl Scouts packaged food for their summer service project. Twenty-five people packaged enough meals to feed 8,640 people, who hopefully will have a fuller stomach due to the scouts' project. Afterwards the scouts enjoyed a sack lunch at the city park and then cooled off at the Cherokee Pool before heading back home.
