Graveside services for Leola Faye Meyer will be held Monday, August 7, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Alva Municipal Cemetery with Pastor John Clapp, Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.whartonfuneralchapel.com.
Leola was born on November 29, 1923, to Lloyd and Ida (Wagner) White. She passed away August 3, 2017, in Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 93 years, 8 months and 5 days.
She and her parents lived on a farm north of Alva. Leola attended school in Alva and graduated with the class of 1941.
