School will soon be starting. As you know if you have kids/grandkids, it costs something to get started. There are several groups that help get kids school supplies. The one I had mentioned to me recently is the Cops and Kids Program. They help with backpacks, school supplies, a small cash assist, clothes, and whatever it takes to get started. Please contact a local officer if you are at wit's end about school costs. Several local businesses and individuals make this work. Thank you to everyone that helps financially to get kids educated.
