14-year-old boy arrested in fatal shooting of Cordell woman

Cordell, Okla. (AP) — A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on a first-degree murder warrant in the fatal shooting of a woman in western Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says the boy was arrested at his home in Corn on Wednesday for the July 2 shooting death of 36-year-old Tammi Thomas.
The agency says the boy also faces charges shooting with intent to kill in the wounding of Thomas' 14-year-old son and of burglary.
The OSBI says the shootings occurred during a home invasion of Thomas' home in Cordell, about 85 miles (137 kilometers) west of Oklahoma City.
