SWOSU Soccer Named Preseason GAC Favorite

Russelville, Ark. –SWOSU Soccer has been named the preseason favorite to win the Great American Conference in 2017 by the league's head coaches. The poll was released Tuesday afternoon by the conference office.
The Bulldogs garnered four first-place votes out of a possible seven to grab the top spot in the preseason poll. SWOSU finished 12-4-3 a year ago, winning the regular season conference crown after compiling a 9-3 league record. By taking the regular season championship, the Dawgs had the privilege of hosting the GAC Tournament in Weatherford.
