Michelle LaVerne was born on March 16, 1961, to Anna Rae (Joseph) McAlpin and Edward Allen McAlpin in Alva, Oklahoma. She passed away August 16, 2017, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, at the age of 56 years and 5 months.

Family visitation at Wharton Funeral Chapel will be Monday August 21, 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday August 22, 2017, at Wharton Funeral Chapel in Alva with Pastor Sonny Daub, Cowboy Church of Cherokee, officiating. Interment will follow in the Alva Municipal Cemetery.
