Alex Mantz at the Friday morning Community Coffee thanked all the community members for helping with the film being produced in Alva called “Waving Wheat Trilogy.” Many Alva area residents participated in singing, dancing and acting.
On Monday, Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NWOSU) starts up, with many students moving in this weekend. Then on Friday are Night in the Northwest and the Chamber's Business Bingo, which gets college students out and into the stores. On Sept. 6, NWOSU Homecoming buttons go on sale.
