Hillcats and Eagles Play to 1-1 Draw

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. –The Rogers State men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at Oklahoma Christian on Saturday (Sept. 23) at the Eagle Soccer Field.
Junior striker Jake Simpson gave the Hillcats an early 1-0 advantage in the 24th minute of the contest with a shot from six yards into the lower left corner after a cross from senior midfielder Declan Fitzpatrick. The goal was Simpson's second of the season.
The lead held for more than 50 minutes, but the host Eagles managed to even the match at 1-1 in the 77th minute. OC's Anthony Buchanan scored on a chip from eight yards after a free kick. The...
