Hillcats Fall on Double Overtime Goal at DBU

DALLAS – The Rogers State women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss on a double overtime golden goal by host Dallas Baptist University on Saturday (Sept. 23) at the Patriot Soccer Field.
The Patriots tallied the game-winning golden goal in the 105th minute of the contest when Emmy Niece scored on a header off a corner kick for the 1-0 final score.
DBU held a huge advantage in shots during the 105 minutes with a 23-5 edge. The Patriots put 12 shots on goal, including the goal, with the Cats finishing with only one shot on goal. DBU put pressure on RSU with 11 corner kicks. The navy and red totale...
