Alva elementary students participated Wednesday morning in "Walk to School Day." Those students who could gathered on the Woods County Courthouse Square to walk to their various schools. The above Google aerial photo shows where the different grades gathered around the courthouse. At bottom is a drone photo of the kindergarten group on the southwest corner of the square. Interestingly, the drone did not want to fly in temperatures colder than 65 degrees, so this is the only shot we were able to get. The project was put together by Northwest Family Services and TSET.
