Alva cheerleaders, players wear pink; raise money for breast cancer

Breast cancer awareness was the topic of the evening as the football players wore pink socks and the cheerleader were decked out in pink, along with their sponsor. During halftime, donation buckets were passed around the stands on the various tiers of parking to collect money for three Alva High School families who are fighting cancer.
