UNO to host lecture on August white supremacist violence

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Two months after violence erupted in Charlottesville, Virginia, during a protest attended largely by white supremacists, a lecture at the University of Nebraska at Omaha will attempt to look at what happened.

The 2017 Rabbi Sidney and Jane Brooks Lecture, titled "Violence, White Supremacy, and #Charlottesville: Can We Learn Anything From The Ethics of War?," will be held Tuesday in the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center.
