MAGNOLIA, Arkansas – Harding ended its three-year run as the runner up at the Great American Conference Men's Cross Country Championships by winning the 2017 edition on Saturday at Southern Arkansas. The host Muleriders finished second.

Harding also won the GAC championship in 2013 and now has 30 conference championships in men's cross-country program history. Harding won with 43 points. Southern Arkansas had 58, and Oklahoma Baptist had 63.
