Janzen, Harris Go 1-2 at GAC Meet

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Jacob Janzen and Patrick Harris finished first and second and led Oklahoma Baptist to a third-place finish at the Great American Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday.
Janzen won the eight-kilometer race in 25:40.85 and Harris was second at 25:52.26.
Janzen resisted the temptation to leave the lead pack early as an East Central runner sprinted into the lead and eventually made up the ground.
"Jacob ran really well," said OBU Coach Mark Heard. "He kept his head ran the last half mile in great fashion."
