SNU stays in conference tournament hunt with 3-2 win vs ECU

BETHANY, Okla. —Southern Nazarene kept its conference tournament hopes alive with a crucial 3-2 win over East Central Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers (5-6-4, 2-3-4 GAC) came into the match in fourth place, and the Crimson Storm (4-11-0, 2-7-0 GAC) needed a win to keep a Great American Conference Championships berth in their sights. Both teams had over 20 shots, as ECU finished with 23, three more than SNU. The Crimson Storm had 11 shots on goal, compared to the eight fired from the Tigers.
