Water is the main topic in city meetings Monday night. A new EMS director will be sworn in, and new rates for police fines and costs will be proposed. The Alva City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. Following will be meetings of the Alva Utility Authority (AUA) and the Alva Economic Development Authority.
After dealing with minutes and claims, the city council will hear reports from numerous city-related meetings. Mayor Kelly Parker will give his report, and City Business Manager Joe Don Dunham will provide his report.
