Police: 2 arrested in death of man found killed by sword

CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma authorities say two men have been arrested on complaints including first-degree murder and robbery in connection to the death of another man who was allegedly killed with a sword.

The Tulsa World reports that Claremore police have arrested 53-year-old Michael Eugene Spears on complaints of first-degree murder and robbery. He's accused in the death of 51-year-old Mark McKinney.

Authorities say 49-year-old Larry Gene McCoy Sr. has also been arrested on robbery complaints. He's accused of taking items from the McKinney's body after his death.
