Oklahoma man sentenced in pipe bomb case

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma man has been sentenced to 44 months in prison for placing two pipe bombs in a relative's vehicle.

The Tulsa World reports that 23-year-old Christopher Nichols was sentenced Thursday in Tulsa federal court after pleading guilty to conspiracy to make and possess destructive devices.

Christopher Nichols and his 53-year-old father, Berry Nichols, were indicted in July in connection to pipe bombs found in a female relative's vehicle outside the Sapulpa courthouse in May. Police arrested the pair after surveillance video showed Christopher Nichols entering the woman's...
