NEWKIRK, Okla. – Ethan Flynt and Reece Martin hit seven of 10 three-point baskets for the Alva Goldbugs (9-2) on Thursday in a blowout victory at Newkirk.

Alva’s 73 points is its largest output of the season, after putting up 72 in its last contest against Pond Creek-Hunter in the Wheat Capital Tournament.

The Bugs return to the floor on the road Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. against Blackwell. Both the Goldbugs and Ladybugs will face Blackwell in its middle school gym.
