Track Takes Second in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. – Indoor track and field competition continued for Oklahoma Baptist Thursday, with the men finishing second by just one point at the Heskett Center.

Bison men finished with 138 points for a second place finish behind 139 points from host school Wichita State. Emporia State finished third with 90 points.

OBU met one provisional standard in a field event and won two events.

Saleem Fadel took first in the 35-pound weight throw with a distance of 59' 10.5" (18.25 meters). He met the provisional qualifying standard in the event, which was the 15th best throw in Division II this year....
