Henderson Falls 102-88 to Hot-Handed ECU

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State had five players score in double figures on Saturday afternoon, but East Central shot 59 percent from the field and ran away from the Reddies 102-88 at the Duke Wells Center.

The Tigers jumped on Henderson from the opening tip and got out to a 15-4 lead to begin the game. The Reddies (12-11, 7-10) responded and cut the lead down to 26-19 on a driving layup from Kaylon Tappin at the 11:20 mark of the first half. At that point, ECU (13-8, 11-6) put its foot on the gas, and used 16-2 run over the next six minutes to open up a 42-21 advantage. The Reddies...
