Lady Eagles earn regional bid with win; fall to Lady Trailblazers

LAHOMA, Okla. – For the first time this decade, the Freedom High School girls will make an appearance in regionals as the Lady Eagles finished as the district runners-up this past weekend at Cimarron.

The Freedom girls earned their spot in the next round of the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association playoffs with a 43-40 win on Friday night in the opening matchup against Deer Creek-Lamont. The Lady Eagles had an opportunity for a district championship the following night, before falling short to host team Cimarron, 79-46.
