SNU Closes Out Cactus Classic

TUCSON, Ariz. — Southern Nazarene closed out the Cactus Classic on Sunday with an 11-1 loss to Lubbock Christian, a 17-5 win over Franklin Pierce, and a 6-5 loss to Dixie State.
The Crimson Storm scored just one run in the opener, as the Chaps scored at least one run in every inning except one. LCU got on the board first in the top of the first, but SNU tied it in the bottom of the second when Mahina Sauer cranked her first home run of the season.
The Chaps regained the lead in the top of the third by scoring a couple of runs, and then added two more in the fourth to push their lead to 5-1. LC...
