Tech Pulls Away Late to Halt Harding Comeback

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – After a valiant Harding rally, Arkansas Tech took the lead for good with just over five minutes left and held on to defeat the Bisons 70-63 Monday in Great American Conference action at Tucker Coliseum.

Harding (5-20, 5-15) trailed by as many as 15 points with 16:20 left in the second half, but outscored Arkansas Tech 23-8 over the next nine minutes. The Bisons tied the game at 55-55 on Tyler Roth's layup with 7:05 left.
