Lady Muleriders come out on top in overtime thriller at UAM, 91-85

MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Lady Mulerider basketball team survived "Rivalry Tuesday" in overtime after taking the Cotton Blossoms down to the wire at UAM in a thrilling 91-85 final decision.
In the first half, UAM and SAU each registered 14 field goal makes, as well as, a 36.4 percentage from the long range (4-of-11) apiece to make it a close contest, that consisted of seven lead changes, and saw SAU use its 90.9% field goal percentage in that half (10-of-11) to eventually take a slim 42-38 advantage over UAM at the intermission.
SAU outscored the Cotton Blossoms in the first quarter (25-23), and...
