Snelgrove leads Rangers to seventh place finish in Victoria

VICTORIA, Texas – Freshman Ben Snelgrove put together a fine opening spring golf tournament in route to a tie for 25th place in the 2018 Claud Jacobs Spring Invitational.
The Kerrville, Texas, native shot a final round 78 in windy conditions to lead the Rangers to a seventh place finish with a three-round total of 949 (310-315-324). The number-one ranked junior college team in the nation McLennan Community College finished in first place in the event with a three-round total of 899 (294-302-303).
