Rodeo association, subcommittee ask for tourism funds

The agenda for the Alva Tourism Tax Committee meeting Wednesday, March 21, lists two requests for funding. An amount not to exceed $6,000 is requested by the Northwest Oklahoma Junior Rodeo Association (NWOJR). The other request comes from the advertising and promotions subcommittee for $2,500 for printing and/or promotions.
In addition, the committee will look at the February financial report and consider action on the budget for the next fiscal year beginning July 1.
The committee meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the council chambers at City Hall....
