Goldbugs drop four in Leedey, Dewey

It was a tough weekend for Alva High School baseball as the Goldbugs dropped four games against quality opponents on Friday and Saturday.
The Bugs dropped the first game of the weekend in a 9-8 loss against Class B No. 3 Leedey at its home ballpark. In the second game of the afternoon, dropped a 12-3 decision versus undefeated Clinton.
On Saturday, Alva traveled to Northeast Oklahoma for a three-way date against Dewey and Adair, at Dewey. The day started with Dewey opening up a big 7-0 lead after two for a 10-2 final, followed by loss against Adair, 4-3.
