David Michael “Mike” Hill was born January 15, 1952, at Achenbach Memorial Hospital in Hartdtner, Kansas, the son of Archie “Bud” Hill and Doris Faye Hill, and went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Kiowa District Hospital in Kiowa, Kansas.

Mike grew up in Kiowa and attended Kiowa Public Schools, graduating from Kiowa High School in 1970. After graduating from Wichita State University with a business administration degree, he returned to Kiowa to resume his chosen profession in the cattle industry as well as farming.
